Kabeaushé (Kenya)

The music of Kabeaushé is an intoxicating mix of everything that makes pop music fun and seductive - their influences range from Prince and Bollywood to Tyler, the Creator. It is futuristic and playful, centered around themes like cuteness and softness. When the Kenyan artist plays live, their performances are hybrids of music and theatre, developed together with a creative team in Kampala. The capital of Uganda is also the home of Nyege Nyege, one of the most progressive music collectives in the world, which held a residency at Oslo World back in 2019. Through their festival and their label, they are providing pop and club music with new, distinctly east-african impulses. Kabeaushé is a natural fit for this philosophy, and in the autumn of 2022, they will release an album on Nyege Nyege Tapes.

LOZPI (Colombia)

Lozpi is a visual anthropology filmmaker and DJ from Colombia. He is experimenting with the video camera through an intimate approach, trying to discover the simple, but at the same time the spectacular in people. As a DJ he tries to bring out that splendid flame within each person by playing warm and atmospheric electronic music colored with Latin and folk rhythms from all over the world. With a wide range of influences, he likes to bring life to the dance floor with exotic drums and deep tribal melodies and vocals. In his sessions he intends to take you on an inner journey through remote places of tropical beaches with rhythms and sensual dances. His artistic career as a DJ is inspired by his roots as a Colombian in a European and Northern Norwegian context. In a process of reaffirming his identity, he brings fun and spicy energy from Latin parties.
