Tromsø World PRO conference, developed in collaboration with Musikkontoret Nord, is a meeting place for the cultural and creative sector in the North, bringing together artists, organisers, cultural institutions, businesses, policymakers and international guests for two days of conversations, new ideas and connections.

Through panels, workshops, presentations and artist talks, PRO explores some of the questions shaping culture today: diversity and inclusion, sustainability, placemaking, tourism, migration, Indigenous and local perspectives, and the role of art in society.

The programme takes place across Tromsø on 30–31 October, alongside Tromsø World.

Come to meet people, exchange experiences, challenge ideas and connect Tromsø and Northern Norway with a wider international cultural community.

  • PRO Conference
    Tromsø World PRO is the professional and conference programme of Tromsø World, taking place 30–31 October 2026. Across two days, we bring together people from culture, music, creative industries, business, tourism and public life for panels, workshops, presentations, artist talks and networking. Expect conversations around diversity, sustainability, placemaking, tourism, migration, Indigenous and local perspectives, and the role of art and culture in shaping society. Friday 30 October: Full PRO conference programme, including lunch and workshop. Saturday 31 October: Talks and panels across several venues in Tromsø.     Tromsø World Festival PRO Pass gir deg full tilgang til både Tromsø World PRO og hele festivalprogrammet 29.–31. oktober 2026.     Tromsø World Day PRO Pass – Friday gir deg full tilgang til Tromsø World PRO-programmet og alle festivalens konserter fredag 30. oktober 2026. På dagtid får du tilgang til Tromsø World PRO, vårt møtepunkt for kulturbransjen med panelsamtaler, talks, workshops, nettverksbygging og faglige møter. Når kvelden kommer, fortsetter festivalen med konserter på scener rundt omkring i Tromsø. Én billett – PRO på dagtid, festival på kvelden.
